Friday, January 18th, 2018 Room 4 Newsletter Dear Families, We had an amazing week in kindergarten! This week we read and wrote about what we see in the sky. We modeled, counted, and wrote the numbers 11 and 12 in two ten frames. During 2nd step with Mrs. Reardon the kindergarten students learned about the word “frustrated” and how to react to big emotions. This Saturday afternoon is the alumni basketball game, cheerleading performances, and staff vs. 8th graders basketball game. I hope to see you there! Save the date:Take Home Projects -We will be creating a class prayer book so start saving/printing photos of people your scholar would like to pray for, we will need the photos by Friday, January 27th. (We will keep the photos so make sure the photos are not originals.) -The 100th day of school is February 6th and there will be a 100 day project that your scholar will create at home and present to the class. -Valentine's day celebration will be on February 13th since Ash Wednesday is on the 14th. There will be a Valentines mailbox project which will be a great opportunity to be creative with your scholar at home. (start looking for inspiration on websites like Pinterest)
