Thursday, May 3rd, 2018 Room 4 Newsletter Dear Families, Our trip to the zoo was such a success! A huge thank you to all of the parents who drove and chaperoned to ensure the safety and wellbeing of our students. Also a shout out to Osvaldo's family for making delicious burritos to share with everyone on our adventure. We learned so much about animals and how they interact with their families. Only 6 more weeks of school ahead of us! Let’s make sure to reach all of our kindergarten learning and social goals within the next few weeks. If there is a concern with a student who needs more intervention academically or assistance behavior wise then they will receive a progress report in their folder on Thursday. This Friday and the following Monday I will be in Alabama at my sister’s graduation! Ms. Sarah will be teaching and caring for our lovely scholars. If you need anything please feel free to contact the office or Ms. Sarah. [email protected] Xavier Riviera is the kindergarten student of the month! Sight words, addition, and reading is now a breeze for Xavier since he has been practicing every day. Xavier has shown great improvement in following the kindergarten expectations and applies his greatest efforts into everything that he does. Thanks Xavier for always coming to school eager to look, listen, learn, and love. We are so proud of Xavier! Spring concert is just around the corner on Wednesday, May 9th at 6:00 pm. The song lyrics are attached so you can practice with your scholar. Have a great weekend! Blessings, Ms. Sanders
