Thursday, January 11th, 2019 Room 4 Newsletter Dear Families, This week our stellar scholars learned all about Martin Luther King Jr. We studied the importance of treating everyone fairly no matter their culture, background, or race. The students will perform a song and poem for the Martin Luther King Jr prayer service for the student body on Thursday the 17th. Reminder we do not have school on Friday January 18th and Monday January 21st. Catholic Schools Week is at the end of the month. On Friday, February 1st we will have a half day and the students will participate in our school Olympics. Each class is supposed to wear their class color or class t-shirt. Coach Joe has offered to make shirts for our class. The shirts are $10 . This is not mandatory but just an option if you would like to have a class shirt. Please send CASH with your child's size by Tuesday. We are looking forward to our upcoming field trip to the Chabot Space and science center on Wednesday, February 27th. We will be learning all about science, space, and weather! If you have not done so yet please turn in your permission slip, money ($17 each), and driver/chaperone paperwork. I need to turn in all the final paperwork and money to Chabot by WEDNESDAY. Thanks Blessings, Ms. Sanders
