Thursday, October 26th, 2017 Room 4 Newsletter Dear Families, We had an exciting week in kindergarten and are so excited for tomorrow's pumpkin patch learning adventure. Please remember to have your scholars bring their bag lunch and booster seat tomorrow and come in their uniform top and jeans. All chaperones and drivers can meet at the kindergarten classroom at 10:30. We can't wait to learn and enjoy the pumpkin patch! Next Tuesday is Halloween! We will celebrate as a school with a parade at 8:00-8:30 in the gym following prayer. The kinders will also go to the school carnival on the playground and play games and socialize with their peers. From 10am-12pm all families are invited to come to our classroom party were we will have crafts, food, and fun. If you would like to bring goody bags or a treat to share we have 22 students and we have a peanut/tree nut allergy. Please contact the room parents if you would like to help with the party. The kindergarten students have a special little presentation they would love for you to experience during the party. Please remember that Halloween is a noon dismissal day. Kindergarten and pre-K will have a very special opportunity in November...a published author will be visiting and reading aloud his books to us! The Shelly’s adventure book series author, Kentrell Martin, will be coming to our school on November 16 and parents are welcomed to join us. If you would like to order a book to have him autograph it book orders due November 3. Blessings, Ms. Sanders Costume Rules: • Please do not send your child with weapons (even props) or in costumes that depict extreme violence, blood, or gore.
