Room 4 Newsletter Dear Families, Happy New Year! I hope you and your families had a relaxing and fun holiday! Thank you for all the wonderful gifts you have generously given to me and Ms. Emily! The treats, jewelry, beauty products, and gift cards were more than amazing. Most of all thank you for sharing your wonderful children with us at school. You honor me and Ms. Emily everyday when you trust us with your children. The Christmas party was one for the books! It was great seeing all of your families and everyone enjoyed the party! A huge thank you to our kindergarten room moms for organizing, directing, and cleaning up such a memorable event. We are so blessed to have them! This week your kindergarten scholars are training to become winter kinders! Your students are ready for more responsibility and higher expectations in our classroom. While we will continue to work on classroom culture and teamwork, we will be diving deeper into our curriculum and will be learning at a faster pace. I am confident that they are ready for the challenge! We have an upcoming field trip to the Chabot Space and Science Center for 2/27/19 with a limited number of drivers and chaperones allowed. The first to volunteer with all of the requirements will be able to accompany us on the trip. The kindergarten class will be accompanying the 7th grade class in presenting the Martin Luther King Jr. Prayer Service on Thursday, January 17th at 2:30, families are welcomed to join us in the gym. We will be presenting our artwork, reciting a poem, and singing a song. *Additional photos under, "Photos", enjoy! Blessings, Ms,Sanders
