Dear Families, It was so nice meeting with all of the parents at parent teacher conferences! I have seen lots of wonderful progress over the first six weeks of school with our scholars. I have faith in our students’ potential to meet and succeed in all of their goals we have set for the year! As a team, (parents, child, and teacher) we can ensure student achievement to be the very best they can be. Please make sure you are reading with your child every night and pointing out popcorn words, rhyming words, and punctuation marks. I have created a new tab on our class website with additional math and language arts enrichment resources, so check it out. We finally have enough drivers and chaperones to go on our field trip on October 21st! In order to be cleared to be a driver make sure you have completed these items and turned it into the office by the beginning of next week:safe-environment, driver's license, fingerprints, and declaration of insurance (100,000/300,000). Also make sure you are cleared to chaperone by completing these items and turn it into the office by the beginning of next week:safe-environment and fingerprints. Congratulations to our student of the week Leonardo A! Leonardo has shown great improvement over the week. He has been using his manners and staying on task. Leonardo was very respectful this week to his classmates and teachers. Keep it up Leonardo! Please contact me at [email protected] and visit our website http://mssanderskindergarten.weebly.com. Sincerely, Ms. Sanders
