Weekly Newsletter Dear Families, The first weeks of our school year in kindergarten starts off very simply with a focus on social skills and behaviors needed for lifelong learning. Students are getting used to the routines of school. Starting next week we will dive into our curriculum and I will give you more details about the course work at Back to School Night. Make sure your scholar gets plenty of sleep over the long weekend to prepare for another exciting week of learning. I look forward to seeing all parents at Back to School Night on Thursday, September 8th at 6:00. We will all meet in the church for general school information before heading into individual class sessions. During the evening, you will have the opportunity to sign up for a conference time on either Wednesday, October 5th, 6th, or 7th. Every day there are several jackets and sweaters that are left at school and mixed up with other students belongings. These sweaters need a stable home! Please make sure you write your child’s name on the tag, there will be less confusion, and fewer lonely sweaters. Thank you parents, for reading with your young scholars everyday. Independent reading and being read to are the keys to developing a lifelong love of books. You are your child’s first teacher. When you practice with him/her at home it will help them get better and it is essential to their education! Please make sure to check the website: www.mssanderskindergarten.weebly.com regularly for any class updates. Also feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns at [email protected].
